A Montesilvano dal 14 al 27 novembre i Mondiali per Cadetti

Anche quest'anno l'Italia ospiterà un Campionato del mondo, e tra i più importanti. Parliamo del Mondiale FIDE per cadetti, vale a dire per le categorie Under 8, Under 10 e Under 12, che si terrà a Montesilvano dal 14 al 27 novembre, al Pala Dean Martin (foto), organizzato da Unichess. Ricordiamo che l'anno passato in un periodo dell'anno analogo, sempre a Montesilvano e con la stessa organizzazione, si era tenuto il Mondiale juniores, che aveva avuto un successo enorme, sia dal punto di vista tecnico che anche come risonanza mediatica e sul territorio. Ovviamente, la speranza è che quest'anno si possa replicare e ulteriormente migliorare.

I Mondiali juniores invece, per le categorie Under 14, Under 16 e Under 18 si svolgeranno a Florianopolis, in Brasile, dal 28 ottobre al 10 novembre.

Tornando a Montesilvano, il termine ultimo per le iscrizioni è fissato al 30 settembre. La FSI ovviamente manderà una delegazione ufficiale ma, visto che siamo in Italia, è probabile che molti vogliano iscriversi anche autonomamente. Le richieste di iscrizione andranno comunque fatte attraverso la Federazione, che dovrà "presentarle" alla FIDE, e si dovrà pagare in anticipo il dovuto. A questo link trovate il bando ufficiale, e poi il sito, che però sarà attivo solo tra qualche giorno.

Infine, anticipiamo un altro Mondiale che si terrà in Italia nel 2025: il Campionato del mondo Seniores, in programma a Gallipoli dal 20 ottobre al 2 novembre 2025.
